For over 40 years, three generations of the Keković family have been carefully preserving the tradition of producing high-quality wines. The company’s history began in 1979 with the planting of the first Vranac vines. Later, the vineyards expanded, and the range of varieties was complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Today, the vineyards are located in three areas: Novo Selo, Piperi and Beri, each of which has a unique microclimate and contributes to the wines’ rich aromatic notes.

The Knežević estate, where Monte Grande wines are produced, is situated in the heart of the Skadar Lake wine region, at an ideal altitude with mineral-rich soil. In the sun-drenched vineyards, several generations of the Knežević family have been cultivating the local grape variety – Vranac, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay, passing on winemaking traditions from generation to generation.

Monte Grande wines reflect the precision, depth and terroir of the Zeta Plain. They are produced in limited batches, often aged in high-quality oak barrels, with the aim of offering an authentic Montenegrin experience in every bottle.
